Thank you to everyone who helped make 2016 a fun and festive Jägerfest!
Jägerfest 2016
2016 Jägerfest Performers
Chu Dat Frawg
Chu Dat Frawg is our special guest performer this year. They are a collaboration of musicians from Northeast Ohio, based in Wellington, with roots in an assortment of musical genres. They play a mix of contemporary, old timey, folk, bluegrass, classic rock, newgrass and even a touch of punk. This is a great group of guys that sound amazing. This will be the first time we have had a group like Chu Dat Frawg play at Jägerfest, and we can’t wait! Check them out on Facebook, www.facebook.com/ChuDatFrawg.
Deutscher Musik Verein
If you have explored our website, you already know more than the average bear about the DMV. We are a traditional Blaskapelle that likes to push the envelope. We love to bring you the traditional polkas and waltzes but continue to look for new pieces that fit into the ‘Schlager’ genre that is so popular at Oktoberfest. Bohemian Rhapsody…need we say more.
Fred Ziwich & His International Sound Machine
The ISM is an award-winning band that has produced numerous recordings since its inception in 1977. Even though they are big time stars in the polka world they are part of the DMV extended family and have been there to support us. Be sure to stick around after the DMV performs to enjoy their festive performance which always closes out Jägerfest on a great note.
